What We Do
The Ted Lindsay Foundation is focused on elevating public awareness in the community regarding the need for increased funding and support for children with autism. We work to raise and dispense funds to new and existing research projects that focus on the cause and treatment of autism. We also provide funding for training programs, educational programs and social services for children with autism.
In addition to the generous donations we receive, funds are raised in a variety of ways through the foundation.
We host annual events, including a wine tasting and our Annual Celebrity Golf Outing, with the proceeds going toward the research of the dedicated team at the Johnson Center for Child Health & Development. A report of the most recent research funded by these events can be viewed here.
We also offer collectible, autographed photographs that can be purchased on this website, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to research efforts.
Collectible photographs can also be found at businesses throughout the Metro Detroit Area at our Ted Lindsay Foundation easel locations. We raise roughly $17,000 to $20,000 every year through the sale of these photographs. Click here to view a list of locations.
Contributions to the Ted Lindsay Foundation are used to fund research projects. The resulting research reports are published worldwide. For your reference, a report can be viewed here.
We want you to know where your generous donations are going, so we have made our Annual Financial reports available for you to view here.
